About the Project

The Supply Chain Initiative is a joint initiative launched in September 2013 by 7 European associations relations with the aim to increase fairness in commercial supply chain. 

The associations represent various interests from the food supply chain. They include the food and drink industry (FoodDrinkEurope), the branded goods manufacturers (AIM), the retail sector (EuroCommerce, EuroCoop, the European Retail Round Table (ERRT) and Independent Retail Europe), and the agricultural traders (CELCAA).

The 2017 SCI Annual Event of the Supply Chain Initiative took place on 24 January. It was hosted by Dita Charanzova MEP and Ivan Štefanec MEP and gathered 70 participants. ERRT President Frans Muller delivered the keynote speech.
